223 Waimaire is a quaint bach just 200m from one of the safest and most beautiful beaches in the Coromandel and only 3 hours from Auckland by car. Matarangi is a lovely destination which has access to walks and safe cycle paths through native forests next to the ocean. It has a small shopping centre and is only 20 minutes from either Whitianga or Coromandel town. It has a stunning 18 hole golf course 5 minutes away and there are 2 good restaurants, also between 5 and 10 minutes away. It is equally beautiful in summer, when swimming and watersports are appealing or winter, when it's much quieter and very cosy in front of the log fire.

There is also the option to take the Whitianga Ferry to explore Flaxmill Bay, Shakespeare Cliff, Cooks Beach & more. Day trips to Cathedral Cove & Hot Water beach also depart from the wharf. It is an easy drive to beautiful beaches including New Chums. Fenced area for parking a boat, except if ground is soft or if damage to grass would occur. Covered area with bbq & outdoor furniture.

Guest facilities are located at ground level. The main bedroom has garden/backyard views. The lounge & dining area, water views. The 2 bedrooms and downstairs area of the house is for your use only, you will have sole use to enter the front and rear sliding doors. There is secured off-street, backyard parking for cars and boats.

The house consists of a 4 bedroom dwelling on the ground floor with an additional 2 bedrooms and an extra bathroom/toilet upstairs. "Kahukura" has ample parking for boats. The boat ramp is 1 kilometre away.
