The train station (JR Saga Arashiyama Sta. 5min walk away) is from there it's 12-17 minutes to JR Kyoto Station. Arashiyama is with its beautiful scenery, the Hozu and Ooi Rivers with its romantic 'Moon-Crossing Bridge Togetsukyo,' the bamboo grove, etc...

This Kyoto Machiya "Mitsuishi" is a renovated house in Ebisubambacho, Kyoto. It belonged to the household of Bamba, who has traditionally lived and prospered in Ebisubamba. It is a government approved accommodation so it is safe and reliable. When renovating the house, we tried our best to keep or reproduce traditional structures such as the pillars, walls, and dirt floor, while replacing the bathroom with new modern facilities.
