Close to Edisto Memorial Gardens, 8 miles to South Carolina State University, 9 miles to Claflin University, a couple of minutes away from the drag strip, 11.5 miles from The Hillcrest Golf Club and close to many restaurants, stores and shopping centers. Relax on the balcony overlooking the pool and lake Marion or go down and relax at the pool, or launch your boat at the boat ramp for the day and go fishing or cruising. There is also a myriad of golf courses near by. For dinner with a great view head over to the other side of the lake to the Lake House bar and grill for adult beverages on the lake with great food. For upscale dining Clark’s restaurant is a good choice. Bike,hike,or cook out over at Santee state park which is only 10 minutes away
