The golf club, park, pump track and access to the 90 Mile Beach are all within walking distance. As we are 200m off the beach it’s a perfect stay off the Te Araroa Trail too to rest your feet. Suitable for 1-2 people as pull out couch has been damaged and no longer converts to a bed so only 1 queen bed available

Our lovely 1920s Bach is a one-minute walk from the beach which is over 100kms long. With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. The Blue Dolphin, Opononi, Hokianga

"The Blue Dolphin" 25 Harbour View Drive, is a small charming 120 year old cottage in a unique location on the water's edge in Opononi, facing north with uninterrupted views of the harbour and sand dunes. The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.
