You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

Welcome to Northern Pine, our brand-new custom cabin, just an hour from the Twin Cities! Nestled along a peaceful stretch of river, this cozy getaway has everything you need for a relaxing stay and plenty of ways to enjoy the great outdoors. Paddle down the river with our provided paddleboards and canoe, sip your morning coffee on the huge deck surrounded by trees, or unwind by the firepit. Inside, you’ll find all the amenities to make you feel right at home - just pack your bags and enjoy.

Scottish highland cattle

Come stay with us on our small hobby farm. We have Scottish Highland cows, chickens, call ducks and peafowl. Our house is 120 years old and you will be in your own space attached to the original farm house. We do need to be with you at all times while interacting with the animals, but our apartment is private. It is a working farm so it is noisy at times, we have pet birds on site that can be loud at times. All people welcome all colors and creeds we are a colorful family at SchoenWest farm.

Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Our Nordic inspired A-Frame is known as the Stylle Hytte which is Norwegian for ‘Quiet Cabin’. Here you can take in 5 secluded acres of woods with trails winding down to the private riverfront. Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna.
