Midnight Sun Cabin

You should have a vehicle to make the best of your Yukon adventure, If you’re not comfortable driving feel free to ask for suggestions. This cabin has a composting toilet and it is taller than a regular toilet, if you have concerns please advise before booking. Please do not turn off heating when you check out in winter. This cabin is located in our yard so you will see vehicles in the yard but it has a secluded deck. The wifi can be spotty. Pets are welcome as long as they are potty trained.

This off-grid log cabin was custom built by my husband. You will enjoy this home as the perfect vacation hideaway nestled in the Magundy River valley with a view of mountains to the south. This cabin sits on 10 acres of trees, mountains and a river. There is a short hiking trail to the nearby river, excellent for wildlife and bird viewing. This cabin is well built, even in Winter time it’s very cozy, after enjoying snow shoeing, ice fishing or watching Northern lights!

THE HOBO - 35 min from Whitehorse

Located on the headwaters of the Yukon River, 2 kilometers from Alaska Highway, half hour drive to Whitehorse. The cabin faces Marsh Lake, where thousands of swans, ducks and other waterbirds congregate each spring. Gorgeous view of mountain peaks. Sandy beach and forest trails. Cabin is self sufficient, with an antique double bed, wood stove, and kitchenette- blue jug water system, small fridge and hotplate. Free wifi and dog friendly. A sweet outhouse in the woods.
