This 600 square foot, 1 bedroom laneway home feels much larger, featuring 13 foot ceilings with clerestory windows bringing in a ton of natural light. Quartz counters, Carrara marble backsplash, distressed strand-woven bamboo flooring and mid-century modern furniture give the space a gallery-like feel. In-floor heating throughout adds a cozy touch throughout the winter. An enclosed, private patio is the perfect place for a spring/summer evening nightcap. The entire space is yours to enjoy. We live close by so are available for anything our guests might need - transit directions, restaurant recommendations, sight-seeing suggestions, etc. The guest home is in Central Lonsdale, one of the friendliest areas of North Vancouver. It has a quiet neighborhood feel, but is just 3 blocks from groceries, cafes, shops, a gas station, and restaurants. There is a parking space available on the property and a lot of street parking available. Parking is never an issue. Our location is extremely central to transit with a bus stop around the corner, 3 blocks to Lonsdale and all amenities, short walk (15-20 min) to sea bus offering access to downtown Vancouver. 20 minutes via bus to downtown Vancouver. 3 minutes to Highway 1, 10 minutes to Grouse Mountain and less than an hour and a half to Whistler.

One bedroom carriage house cottage in the private serenity of Caulfeild Cove, a block away from 6 miles of hiking trails in Lighthouse Park. French doors to south facing balcony overlooking the ocean. Park and ocean trails are directly in front. Warm reclaimed hardwood floors leads to a deck at the edge of the Princess Park forest, with a salmon creek running to the west. Wildlife often passes through — raccoons, owls, and occasionally even a bear. Some of the North Shore’s best mountain biking is just a block away.
