Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

An eco friendly cabin with lovely views of the Mendips and surrounding countryside. We have 4 cabins in our field. Each cabin is bespoke. Carefully designed and built with eco materials to minimise the impact on wildlife. Enjoy sunset views or star gazing from the porch. Lovely walks on the footpaths through the fields and woodlands straight from the cabin. Stroll down to the village pubs alongside the river Yeo at the bottom of our field. Hopefully you'll be able to see our resident barn owl.

Situated in beautiful countryside in the Mendip Hills AONB, but conveniently located for Bristol Airport (3.9 miles), Central Bristol (12 miles) and the Cities of Bath (18 miles) and Wells (12 miles). We offer a large, modern suite/annex with a private entrance and terrace, situated in the quiet, high class residential area of Upper Clevedon. There is a fantastic 180* view of the Mendips and Bristol Channel, with Wales and even Devon visible on a clear day. Enjoy a drink or breakfast from the selection of items we provide, while taking in the panorama from the terrace or take a 10 mins walk downhill to great restaurants and shops on Hill road or few minutes more to the seafront.

Recently converted stables with lake view

The Old Stable is a beautiful one-bedroom detached barn conversion which can accommodate up to four guests. Newly renovated in 2021 to a luxurious standard with plenty of character, beamed ceilings, bifold doors and stylish furnishings. The property has breathtaking views over the Mendips and the Chew Valley Lakes. There is even a walk down to the lake which is 400 yards away. One well behaved dog is welcome. Please ensure that when you make your booking you add the £10 pet fee.
