Parys, Own Water, S/Catering, A/C Pool, Wi-Fi

We have our own clean fresh water source. Not affected by Parys town load shedding. We eskom direct. Each unit separate. Your luxury Cottage is situated on African Olive Country Estate, a privately owned establishment situated a mere 1 km from Parys town centre on tarred road. The estate is a working farm. Close enough to enjoy the town and far enough to enjoy the country. We provide luxury country living for the discerning guest. All self catering for you to enjoy the freedom of your time.

Bellary Farmhouse (3 bedrooms)

It's a 3-bedroom house on the farm 20 minutes from Parys. The house has a porch where you can enjoy a glass of wine watching the sunset. In Parys, you can play golf or window shop. Alternatively, you can stay on the farm, drive a tractor or bottle feed the lambs. In Vredefort you will find a lovely pub with “Boerekos”. Please note that it's an old house and that there will be dust. So, if you don't mind the winds and a little dust, come and relax, have some wine and enjoy your stay.

Take a break from city life. Come and relax, read, write, hike or just re-connect with each other on this picturesque working farm nestled in the heart of the Vredefort dome. The dome is a geological wonder. It's superabundant bushveld is teeming with bird-life. Visit the charming nearby town of Parys if it gets too quiet for you on the farm. There are a great deal of activities to choose from in the surrounding area namely zip line, biking, horse riding and dining out to name a few!

Mooihoek Cottage

Mooihoek Cottage is a self-catering retreat on a lovely Free State farm near Petrus Steyn. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and ample outdoor space with braai facilities, it can accommodate up to 9 guests. The cozy lounge features a TV with Netflix, DSTV, and YouTube, and the fully equipped kitchen ensures comfort during your stay. Secure parking and Wi-Fi access are also available.

The Peninsula Vaal Dam / Skier Estate Game Farm

A very comfortable family home within a game farm on the Peninsula of the Vaal Dam. We have a private water front for launching your boat or fishing. There are many acacia trees on the property for you to laze under. In the evenings you can get a bonfire going in the boma. You can run, cycle, or just walk around the estates 10km’s of dirt road to check out the area

A peaceful farm experience, clean and comfortable rooms: Run by Wouter and Wilna. 12km from the nearest town Heilbron, the farm is also inhibited by more than 15 animal species including Zebra and Gemsbok. A quiet and tranquil destination. MUST LOVE DOGS! We have six dogs, and they love our guests.

If you’re looking for a farmstay that provides quality bedding and stylish interior, you’ll love our space. We’re just off the R721 (so almost no gravel road) but far enough not to hear the road noise. Kroonland Farmhouse is part of an operating farm, so be sure to enjoy some of the farmlife.
