The Architect's Retreat by Oregon Coast Modern

Originally designed by renowned Portland, OR architect Marvin Witt for his family, this towering 3 story "tree house" has been lovingly updated and restored. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an open concept living room and kitchen with fireplace on the top floor. The house also features 3 private decks. It's a short walk to the beach and close to town and hiking trails. Per Airbnb policy please note we have exterior cameras for security in the driveway, front walkway and east side siding.

Our family friendly cottage is nestled just a block away from Neahkanie Beach (the north end of Manzanita beach) and is the perfect retreat for your next getaway. With partial ocean views from every west-facing window, your family can enjoy a short walk to the beach and experience the beauty of the coast. Rinse off in the outdoor shower and warm up in the 7 person hot tub. Enjoy a cozy wood-burning fireplace for stormy days or take in breathtaking sunsets on the deck with a glass of wine.

End of The Road - 4 Night Minimum

End Of The Road is a rustic family cabin perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with the wooded hills of Oswald West State Park rising behind. Hand built in the late 1950's by the current owners, this 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin includes a wood stove, hot tub and washer/dryer. The location is a dramatic and stunningly wild spot. There is little sense of other human presence. Dogs are welcome with an Additional Services Fee of $25 per night, per dog: limit 2. Sorry, no cats.

Bordering the forest at the end of the road you are in a secluded oasis located at the top of the hill above Manzanita. With skylights, fabulous kitchen, big wood stove, and cozy bedroom loft, hear the distant surf and the rain on the roof as you wake up or doze off . Yet only minutes away from Manzanita and the beach.

The cabin is minutes from downtown Manzanita, Oswald State Park, Short Sand Beach, Neahkahnie Mountain hiking trails, and Nehalem Bay State Park.
