The hot tub and BBQ/ Fire pit area is shared with the main house which sits above. This is a place to reflect, relax and recharge. Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

Note: bear, fox, hawks, quail, bats, lizards, banana slugs, bobcat, spiders are part of the forest ecosystem and may occasionally visit the vicinity.

Welcome to a peaceful and unique getaway in the heart of Anderson Valley. This custom-built house sits on 40 acres and is the perfect place to relax. Enjoy the wrap-around porches, surrounding gardens and the outdoor vintage claw-foot bathtub. Dappled sunlight reaches through majestic redwoods, and the rock pool with the sweet sound of running water is the perfect place to sit and relax. Crispin Cottage

A small but cozy cabin, warmed by our kerosene heater in the winter and with a small air conditioner for the heat waves of summer. The sunroom maintained by my sister is warm on sunny winter days and cool during the summer. Our property is peaceful, with only my mother, sister and my sister's grandson living in the two other dwellings on the three acre property. We offer complete privacy for those that prefer it; or for those that enjoy it, we love meeting and gretting our guests.

The cabin is located on 10 acres in Philo near many of the best wineries in Anderson Valley -- Handley, Husch, Navarro, Roederer, & Greenwood Ridge, and is a short drive to the ancient redwoods of Hendy Woods State Park and the Navarro River.
