Charming Canalside Cottage

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

Secure garden for children and dogs and a friendly welcome from me, Judy who lives next door. 2 miles from Cholmondeley, Peckforton, Bolesworth & Peckforton Castles, 7 from Oulton Park. Fab pubs/walking on the Sandstone Trail from the doorstep. Big news! It’s now possible to book Uber to and from Bulkeley, so much easier access than ever before.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.

Sleepers Lodge

Stylish, light and bright annexe accommodation that sleeps up to 4. Recently refurbished with brand new fittings throughout, simba mattress and open plan living. Excellent location near to the town centre and just off Nantwich's famous welsh row, but tucked away to ensure a peaceful nights rest.
