AIRD VILLA, Scalpay, on the Isle of Harris

Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

6 miles from Stornoway our new Barn conversion, on a working croft by the sea, is in the beautiful village of Aignish. Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Roskhill Cottage is a beautifully restored 19th-century croft house on the Isle of Skye, blending traditional Highland charm with modern luxury. Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Caravan On The Croft

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

Starsach view

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a double bed, and a two small bunk type beds. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy
