Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Í húsinu er eldhúseining ásamt öllu sem þarf til einfaldrar eldunar, baðherbergi með sturtu og gullfallegt útsýni niður að Lagarfljóti. Bílastæði er rétt utan við dyrnar og gott aðgengi að húsinu.
