The Beach Cottage

The Beach Cottage is a self-catering cottage on a working dairy farm within walking distance to the beach. It is only 10km from the EL airport and a 20 minute drive into EL. The cottage has beautiful views of the sea as well as of cows grazing on green pastures. It has a fully functional kitchen. Tea, coffee, fresh farm milk & rusks are provided on arrival. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Please note, own transport advisable as we are on a farm.

Umthi Lodge: Wildlife, Pool, Power Inverter

Umthi Lodge is a guesthouse on a private nature reserve in South Africa, with views of wild game all around. Situated on the unspoiled natural coastline of the Eastern Cape, with private access to a beautiful beach and lagoon. Sleeps 8 people plus a cot bed. Free unlimited high speed WiFi. This is the perfect cottage for a working professional or for a couple who is/are traveling through Port Alfred. There is a large desk to do work or just relax in the lounge with the TV on. The open plan kitchen/lounge opens up into a sunny courtyard. A braai (BBQ) can be provided on request. There is a washing machine inside the cottage with outside lines to hang up your laundry. There is an off street designated parking bay.

Pura Vida Cottage (inverter & fibre) 2min to beach

Stand alone, self-catering cottage for two in a quiet area, short stroll to the beach/lagoon, shops and restaurants. Off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi (Fibre connection) and smart tv. Inverter and water tanks to assist with load shedding. Our housekeeper is available at an additional cost per day. Please do not hire strangers for security reasons. Please note no daily service or laundry facilities.
