Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from the Historic Town Centre of Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons National Park and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite and in the near vicinity. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with heater.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Coronation House Merthyr, Brecon, Bike Park Wales

Coronation House is a typical Welsh terrace in the historical mining village of Aberfan. Just a short drive from Bike Park Wales and exploring the Brecon Beacons and South Wales. Aberfan is a former coal mining village in the Taff Valley 4 mi (6 km) south of the town of Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. It also has history with the Aberfan disaster. The Aberfan disaster was the catastrophic collapse of a colliery spoil tip on 21 October 1966.
