Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Utter Heaven Ice Cream & also Mini Golf is within walking distance. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd and downtown Bar Harbor are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

Enjoy the 1940's coastal cottage charm, with many modern updates. 5 minutes from Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park, Half Moon is central to everything on Mount Desert Island. Three Pines B&B overlooks Sullivan Harbor. The 40 acre waterfront, timberframed, solar homestead offers two guest rooms (booked individually), each with a private entrance, private bath, and spectacular water views. With over 800 ft. of shorefront, 3000 ft. of old railroad bed, and 40 acres of woodland, you'll never have to leave the property to enjoy the natural beauty of the Maine coast. A short drive will take you to Acadia National Park. A full, vegetarian breakfast is included.

Local quaint shopping areas and restaurants in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor which is from 15-30 minutes from our B&B.

The North End of Our Restored Barn

Our beautifully restored 160 year-old barn is centrally located on Mt. Desert Island, approximately 15 minutes from the village of Bar Harbor and approximately 10 minutes from the entrance to Acadia National Park via an old farm road, aptly named 'The Crooked Road'.
