Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

Our lovely wooden glamping pod has a comfortable double bed and we can offer a camp bed for an additional guest . Bedding and towels are provided . The pod has electric and is heated by it's own little woodburner . The Glamping pod has a private wood fired Spa hot tub. There is a private composting toilet and shower , in addition the luxury showers and toilets are close by. The pod is situated close to the field where the farm animals graze.
