The 4 Corners Tiny House

Welcome to the Four Corners Tiny House—a handcrafted basecamp just outside Cortez with big sky views. Inside is simple and functional. The kitchen has a sink, microwave, hot plate, and essentials. A loft bed with a new mattress and a futon for extra sleeping space. The bathroom has a full-size shower with on-demand hot water. Step outside to your private deck, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs,perfect for coffee, fires, and views. (Water pressure issues noted by prior guests have been resolved.)

El Nido Apartment at Totten Lake

El Nido is a second-story apartment on a lake-front property, with panoramic views and a wrap-around patio. This two-bed, one-bath contemporary apartment is named El Nido (Spanish for "the nest"), because of the abundant wildlife in the area, including resident bald eagles nested across the street in a designated wetlands. The space is fully furnished and is new construction as of the summer of 2024. The owners have a workshop and office space on the first floor, with occasional day use.

Deer Creek Cottage

No pets after April 2021. Location is 1 miles from Montezuma County Fair Grounds. Be advised that Friday nights and Saturday nights there are races a mile from Deer Creek you can hear the races. A older two bedroom home remodeled with one bathroom and laundry area. The neighboring houses are being updated. A little part of our family history. The family business moved the house here saying “save a tree move a house”. This house is now called Deer Creek. It was one of Cortez’s first homes.

Stump Henge (Bed & Breakfast in a wagon)

Spend a peaceful night in a sheepherder's wagon next to a stream. Our 10-acre farm is conveniently located 9 miles from the Mesa Verde National Park entrance and midway between two famous mountain biking destinations.
