Beautiful courtyard apartment set in over 20 acres - the location is just right for relaxing, and eating some of the best food in Italy. If you love mountain biking or hiking this is perfect. We are 40 minutes from Bologna airport. Our nearest town is Vignola, rich in history and famous for its cherries. You can explore the region of Emilia Romagna, and return each evening and watch the sun go down with a chilled glass of wine. (2 nights stay in Winter when requested)

It's a peaceful place, with panoramic views and the convenience of having excellent local restaurants (& wine makers) nearby. Perfect accommodation for romantic couples, families with children with their dogs. Perfect place to relax but also suitable for guests who like active holiday with many exiting trekking, canyoning, mtb and horse riding excursions. Nice panoramic pool and view on the entire valley. Borgo Fontanini is a 14th Century hamlet located in the middle of chestnut and oak trees forests. The Tower-house is one of the fortified, stone buildings complex. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen with a fireplace and a living room.
