The Boat House at Acton Lake

The Boat House has had a makeover with a new kitchen etc. It was originally constructed during the Second World War as a pump house. We have re novated it to be glamorous 'glamping' option with a four poster bed and a new Hottub. It is set on the side of a lake and you are all alone to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. There is a wood burning stove for cosy nights in. Gas BBQ for al fresco dining. Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
