The Spruce Nest

Stay in a historic home in Old Town Steamboat Springs built 1907. We have added an entry, dining room, master bedroom and bath and powder bath. However, we have kept the original two-story home in tact, similar to the early 1900's. We even used original wood from the walls to accent the exterior. Salt Shed Flats is located in the heart of the historic Hayden Granary. The McCue Flat (Unit 4) features a queen bed, pull out couch and two twin beds. These are cozy, comfortable, and well stocked units for any length of stay in Hayden, Colorado! Located 30 minutes West of Steamboat & 5 minutes from Yampa Valley Regional Airport. The Flat is next to a taphouse and & food truck, yet typically all is quiet after 9pm. There is an additional pet fee, cleaning fee for 10+ days and monthly stays.

Private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4WD or AWD preferred travel in winter. The heat is furnished by a wood stove. Solar powered lights. The composting bathroom is 20 feet away and the shower house a short walk. Water is supplied. Blackstone grill and French press provided.
