We have a large, lower unit, private studio with a separate entrance, washer/dryer, and private outdoor space. It is quiet amongst the Redwoods, with ample on street parking and is very close to San Francisco, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, downtown Mill Valley, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Sausalito, Tiburon, bike paths and mountain bike trails.

Nestled on the water of the Sausalito Richardson Bay, our houseboat offers an immersive experience of unrivaled beauty. The breathtaking, panoramic views unfold like a canvas right before you. Upper level of remodeled houseboat with rooftop deck, full kitchen and laundry where every detail is thoughtfully designed including local artists' work. Large charming room with separate entrance, private bathroom & your own deck in stunning redwood grove on the famous Dipsea steps. Right out your door are trails to Muir Woods and Stinson Beach. Downtown Mill Valley’s fabulous cafes, restaurants, shops and bars are a ten minute stroll down the Dipsea steps (along with a superb music scene). Includes on-site parking, cozy queen bed, laundry, wifi, smart TV, safe storage, coffee/tea, and mini-fridge in an absolutely beautiful, serene setting.

Unique Indoor/Outdoor Studio with Sleeping Annex

Immerse yourself in nature at my quiet, cozy compound, blurring the line between indoors & out. Built using reclaimed and green materials to be a garden oasis, both buildings are bright and sunny. **Please note that the bathroom is located in the Studio and the Annex bedroom is a separate building 20' away (see photos). It is located two blocks from the Deer Park trailheads and within easy walking/biking distance to town & shops. There's plenty of storage and closet space for longer-term stays!

Lightworks Treehouse Retreat

The treehouse retreat is surrounded by a redwood and oak forest, a nearby stream, and sauna. Enjoy coffee on the deck and listen to the sounds of nature, or nestle up with a book in a nook in your Queen-sized bed. Gaze through any of the large, light-filled windows encircling a full kitchen with sink, microwave, electric stove top, toaster oven, and mini fridge, a mid-century living room area, maple dining table that converts into ample workspace. Relax in the deep Japanese tub to wind down.

Looking for a healthy dose of tranquility and adventure at your doorstep? Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

We're following strict sanitizing and washing protocols and provide cleaning supplies in the unit. We're in a quaint neighborhood in a flat area of Mill Valley. This space is comfortable for 1 and cozy for 2. A mile from downtown Mill Valley, many great hiking/mountain biking trails and San Francisco is 10 miles away.
