The living area opens to a large covered porch overlooking a field with grazing Longhorns. Longhorns are in a fenced in area for guests to enjoy and view at a distance - stay back 10' from the fence. The porch is a perfect place for morning coffee or happy hour! An attached covered entertaining area includes family friendly games such as cornhole toss, darts, and horseshoes.

The Starlight Cabin is the actual guest house for a working Longhorn cattle ranch. Although not a large acreage by Texas standards (48 acres,) this special location is perfect for those who wish to get out and away from the usual crowds. It is peaceful and isolated. This is a pet friendly property, and we do charge a $50 one time fee for pets (no exceptions). This fee covers 1 or 2 pets, and helps us keep this place available for guests with furry family members.

Big yard for outdoor activities, and if you want a more relaxing time there is a firepit area where you and your friends/family can relax and enjoy the night. We are just a 25-minute drive to Bryan/College Station and Kyle Field and just a 20-minute drive to Lake Somerville.
