Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Penzhorn Rest Cottage

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. Enjoy the custom-built "Bos Bad" to cool down or heat up (with a coal stove) overlooking a stunning river view, uninterrupted bush, beautiful sunsets, a starlit sky and the Milky Way at night. A fully Equipped, self catering kitchen is available An enclosed garden with a splash pool is available for your exclusive use. Sip sundowners on the outside patio set while the fire gets ready for a braai! Orpen Gate and Kruger National Park is a 40 minute drive away.
