There is beautiful aspen covered,alpine high country nearby as well as red rock desert/ formations including a series of natural arches.

Centrally located in the Grand Valley, on the edge of a Redlands Mesa, sits our Southwestern adobe style house. An outside staircase takes you up to the tower guest room. There is ample parking and a culdesac. It's fisherman friendly with a turn around driveway to accommodate dories or rafts. The valley is known for its orchards, wineries and vineyards. Explore the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. If you like getting away to a peaceful and quiet retreat, this is the place for you.

The Solargon

The Solargon is inspired by elements of Asian yurts, Navajo hogons and Native American hidatsa lodges. Combined with passive solar design principles, the solargon is an octagonal structure designed to take full advantage of the sun. This cozy 8'x20' shipping container tiny home is located on three acres that overlooks the the Grand Valley. The container sits between our small orchard and open space that we are returning to native vegetation. Enjoy incredible views of the Valley, the Book Cliffs and the Grand Mesa and abundant bird watching!
