The Lake House

Lots to do with over 500 acres to explore, hike, or ride your horses right in the center of town. Walk to any festival or just enjoy the quiet seclusion next to the fully stocked 3 acre lake. The Grand Mesa has lakes to fish, trails for horseback riding, skiing and snowmobiling.

Stay on a 100-acre riverfront ranch

The Perch is located on our 100-acre private ranch, where guests have access to the trails across the main property, ponds, river and riverfront, and also the 1500 sq ft deck and gazebo down at the river (subject to availability). The Ranch feels secluded, but is close to downtown Palisade and in amongst the wineries and other local attractions. We are also righty next to the off-leash dog-friendly Riverbend Park, where the local festivals are held (Bluegrass, Winefest, Peach Festival etc.).

Colorado Secluded Summer Vacation Retreat

Kokopelli cabin has its own large trout stocked fishing lake with dock, row and paddle boats. The horse corral is within easy walking distance from the cabin, will accommodate 4 horses, and has a saddle tack room. Call for horse availability or bring your own. Due to the cabin's seclusion, there is no electricity. Kokopelli utilizes propane for it's lighting, water heater, furnace, stove, fridge, etc., with generator backup available upon request. We are located 9 miles north of Paonia.

The Grand Mesa is beautiful! We are located at 10,200' in elevation. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SNOW ON THE GROUND THROUGH MAY AND INTO JUNE. We have a total of 9 cabins for rent. We are across the street and a short walk to two lakes, beautiful scenery, hiking trails, XC skiing, atv-ing, snowmobiling, canoeing, mtn biking, and great fishing! We rent boats, stand up paddle boards & snowshoes. We also have snowmobile tours and rentals. There's something for everyone!
