Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

There are numerous trees surrounding the cottage, providing privacy. The views are of open meadow, forest and apple orchard. The Osprey Aerie (nest) is a sun-filled second story apartment overlooking a flower & fruit tree filled yard. The yard is often shared with our playful tuxedo cat, Felix, and McNab Shepherd, Blossom. A private deck w/ two outdoor chairs & table allow for comfortable outdoor dining while overlooking the large open garden. Our other listing "The Photographer's Studio", is an independent unit without full kitchen on the first floor.

Quiet and secluded. Located on a paved private lane away from traffic.
