We wanted a suite where guests felt welcome and relaxed! We are always on site to insure you have everything you need. We are as socially available as the guest prefers! We have guests that have become friends and some who prefer total privacy, we are happy with both. Our suite has often been described as serene and relaxing! It is not child friendly as there are cement steps, which must be maneuvered! Our goal is that every guest feel they are our first guest and experience a 5 star stay!

Three Peaks Retreat

Your home base to explore the area’s many trails & waterfalls! This historic home is minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy a spacious bedroom with a king-size Nectar mattress and a luxurious bathroom. Attached is a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and fridge/freezer. Savor your favorite beverage from the breakfast nook with picture window that overlooks the meadows. Private entrance, fenced yard with table. 5 acre property with pond and wildlife. Our Peaceful Mountain Retreat: The Crow’s Nest

Come visit us in one of the best parts of Western North Carolina! Our attached lower level guest apartment has its own entrance from your private deck with keypad entry. Inside is a large luxuriously furnished living area, with an under counter fridge/freezer a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker and kettle. Satellite TV and WiFi are provided. There’s a separate bedroom with queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Use your private apartment as a secluded getaway or as a base for your explorations!

Room 2 - Cozy Mtn View Right Off East Main Street!

Room #2 (Cozy Mountain View) at The Colonial Guest Rooms has one queen sized bed with private shower and is in a perfect central location in the heart of Burnsville, NC. You can easily walk to the shops downtown, take a drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains, or just enjoy quiet time on the hill overlooking Main Street and the mountains. If desired for a larger number of guests to experience Burnsville, we also have Room #1 (2 queens beds) and Room #3 (2 queen beds) potentially available.

Close to the necessities yet feels miles away. 5 minutes to I-40 and groceries/food. 20 minutes to Black Mountain. 45 minutes to Asheville

This efficiency is a part of our home, but it has its own private entrance, space, and upper patio. Our home is at the end of the drive - it’s serene and wooded. Whether you’re looking to visit family & friends, adventure, get quiet, or just passing through, we have an awesome affordable mountain stay for you.

The Burrow; newly renovated apt. 2 bedroom, 2 bth

Spacious, 2bd/2bth apartment( 1st flr, private entry—hosts live 2nd flr) great for small families. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, fire pit, back porch. 7-min. walk to Ridgecrest Conf. Cntr & Girls Camp, Fonta Flora & Kitsuma biking & hiking trails. 2 mi. to Blk Mtn. Close to everything WNC, incl Asheville (15 min.), Biltmore, Pisgah Ntnl Frst, when you stay at this cozy, clean, smartly-renovated & decorated mountain apt. We love pets, but for allergenic purposes, we're pet free. Our apologies.

Lakeside family retreat, private beach and dock

Make some memories at this unique family-friendly place! This lower level retreat includes a private beach and dock with a covered sitting area and room to tie up your boat or fish. The quiet retired owners living upstairs will respect your privacy. We have 5 kayaks, a paddle board and sand toys. A swim platform and splash pad are available in the summer The back yard is gently sloped and beautifully landscaped. A wooded area includes tree swings, play house, table and Adirondack chairs.

“House in the Woods” a private basement apartment

This is a comfortable & spacious basement apartment that has a living/dining room with a fully stocked kitchen on the ground floor & 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom up a 1/2 flight of stairs. Guests have a separate entrance down a slight incline from parking area. Private patio is perfect to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or just relax. We are unable to accept children under 4. Up to 2 medium sized dogs are welcome for a fee. No cats. Airbnb account holder must be onsite during entire stay.

"The Basin" at Gold River Camp is a cabin-style studio at a former Gold & Gem Panning operation on the Second Broad River; this little slice of paradise was once a part of the United States' first gold rush, in one of the most bustling regions in the early 1800s. You will have access to the campground's modern and clean bath house - there is NO bathroom in this unit.

Linville Gorge Guest Suite

Western North Carolina is BACK! Situated on the edge of the Linville Gorge, we are 1 mile from the Pisgah National Forest and 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts, weekend warriors or book nerds. Grab a picnic and hike to a secluded river spot, road bike "The Snake" to Little Switzerland, mountain bike some of the sweetest, technical descents, trail run, or just pour a glass of wine and finally finish that James Patterson book.
