It is totally self-contained - perfect for safe self-isolation in this unspoilt corner of the west of Ireland. Fuchsia Cottage is an oasis of peace and quiet just off the Wild Atlantic Way. Explore the beautiful coastline of North Mayo and relax in this cozy hideaway as you watch the amazing Mayo sunsets from the outdoor seating area. There is lots of space for children and pets to play in the garden and adjoining meadow. Two fabulous beaches are just a short walk away - one is sheltered and secluded, and around the corner from there is the famous Kilcummin Back Strand - wide open to the waves.

A short 8 minute walk will bring you to the renown Fountainhill Beach, one of Connemaras best swimming beaches. The area is full with activities to suit everyone, all situated on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way!

Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.

120 years old restored cottage situated in a scenic and secluded area. It is surrounded by lakes and mountains and an ideal base for a fishing and touring holiday in Galway, Connemara and Mayo. a wonderful location, for hill walking ,outdoor pursuit's, angling, water sports ,nature. Heating and electricity is included, and an inital complementary bag of firewood is supplied for the stove.
