Ironbark House & Horse Riding is situated on the ridge line gazing out across the outback. This totally off-grid 1345 acre property has its own solar power system, harvests all its own water and is located on the outskirts of the Atherton Tablelands in the farming district of Dimbulah on route to Mt Mulligan and Chillagoe. Just constructed with 2 large bedrooms both with spacious ensuites, separated by a welcoming kitchen/dining/living area with a generous verandah across the front of the house.

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Kuranda, home to the Indigenous Djabugay people is tucked away within an ancient Rainforest. Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Birdwing Hut in the Rainforest

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

This home offers seclusion and privacy and is separated into two wings joined by the spacious deck which captures the waterside breezes and is the full length of the house. The layout of the house makes it ideal for a romantic get away or a group holiday. One wing consists of the main living area, kitchen and master bedroom with walk through robe and bathroom. The second has two spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathroom and separate toilet and a smaller bedroom with 1 queen bed.

It is within easy walking distance to a great craft brewery, cafes and shops. Trail Town Tiny Home is situated on a large residential block in Atherton. It is the ideal base to explore all the lakes, waterfalls, markets and history of the stunning Tablelands. Or, just kick back and relax with a good book.

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere.
