The Clearing | Rustic Wagon by the Sea

Unplug, unwind and immerse yourself in nature at our rustic wagon set up...absolute waterfront in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds. Watch the boats go by on the water below & enjoy the tranquility of the native bush & birdsong. Take a walk down one of the tracks to the waterfront, for a swim, to soak up the sun or go for a kayak. The wagon features a queen bed & ensuite toilet. Adjacent to the wagon is a covered kitchen / dining area & an outside hot water bush shower is amongst the ferns.

Moenui Magic

In beautiful Moenui we have a typical kiwi north facing bach overlooking the Mahau Sound. It boasts a two bedroom house with a one bedroom and lounge Chalet, and an expansive deck that takes in full views of the water. There are many options to sit and take in gorgeous views from many vantage points around the property. Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, opening out onto the deck. With a mooring, boat ramp to launch your boat, a local reserve and surrounding walks, you will fall in love.

Our Kayaks for your use, & our shoreline deck are a 2 minute walk down to the beach. A great spot to relax in the sun. Outdoor BBQ area and spa pool sets the scene for your relaxing break away. Only 10 minutes drive from Picton where the train, bus or ferry connects you to the gateway of the South Island or North Island. Soak in the spa pool, relax on a deck with a glass of wine, use the kayaks or paddleboard or put out a fishing rod just metres from your suite. Unique location right on the waters edge in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds.
