This quiet little hamlet of cabins is located on Culhane Lake in the northeastern upper peninsula close to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Crisp Point Lighthouse, Little Lake Harbor, Lake Superior, and many other local attractions. Although the cabins have been on the property for many years they all have been recently renovated to offer all of the comforts of home yet located completely off the grid. Black Dog Lodge

Black Dog Lodge is a place to re-connect with family and make memories while adventuring the Upper Peninsula and exploring the road less traveled. The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
