Thymes house took its name from the hill that it is built on, as it was a place full of the herb thyme. You can still smell its scent together with other Cretan herbs. Loulos village is a traditional village, part of Keramia, a complex of 14 villages on a plateau-basin at the feet of the White Mountains.
