Enjoy the relaxing surroundings while staying in a newly renovated cabin with all the comforts of home. 2 night min. stay seasonally/Fri/Sat but possibly accept a 1 night stay...just ask. One queen size, memory foam bed, heating/air conditioning, wall mount fireplace, outdoor sunken fire pit, high speed internet, large 8' projection screen for movies with great surround sound system, and a secondary covered parking area with a washing station for motorcycles are just some of the great amenities we have to offer.

Our cozy cabin includes a loft bed, a kitchenette, a wood stove, a full bathroom and televisions with DVDs. Enjoy an enormous, furnished deck overlooking Mosier Creek with a barbecue and a fire pit. Unplug. Enjoy the peace and quiet! We are a hop away from wineries, the Columbia River, and Hood River. We are 54 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows. One caveat, our Internet sometimes is great, sometimes spotty or sometimes non-existent, depending on the mood of our Starlink satellite.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
