Long Sands Cottage - Walk to Beach

Walk to Long Sands Beach - we are 0.4 miles from the beach, about a 7 minute walk. July/August are 7-day Sat to Sat only rentals. BYO Linens and Towels. Cottage is on a charming unpaved road in a quiet neighborhood of small 1950's vintage seasonal cottages. Walking distance to downtown York Beach which has a zoo, restaurants, penny arcade and fun shops. There is a rolling beach cart and two beach chairs available for your use. If you are looking for a restaurant close by try Stones Throw.

Relax in our private, romantic Cape Neddick cottage, overlooking a 2 acre meadow and woodland, close by foot, bike, to the amenities of York, Ogunquit, Kennebunk, Kittery, and Portsmouth and within a ten minute ride to five beautiful beaches. Cape Neddick Beach being the closest one, a five minute ride. Our cottage is off the beaten path on a quiet private way, near the Cape Neddick River .

This home is a spacious, sunny home conveniently located via a 6 min walk to Short Sands beach!! A "right of way" from the backyard takes you to Freeman street and the center of downtown. The perfect base for a family vacation in York. 3 bedrooms, a crib, 2 full baths, large yard, a great deck with a grill and fire pit to enjoy during the Maine evenings.
