The rustic river front updated cabin has 300 feet of river frontage, fenced yard (except the riverfront). Rear deck has a hot tub, beautiful majestic view of the river. The river has heavy tidal flow (no river use from home). The Hoquiam River support runs of Chinook, chum, and coho salmon, steelhead, and sea-run trout. just a couple of miles upriver from Historic Downtown Hoquiam restaurants, stores and shops, 20 min to coast 45 min drive to Lake Quinault hiking trails South Shore Trailhead.

We provide wi-fi, downstairs sitting area, upstairs bedroom with king size bed, TV, couch and 2-person shower. Enjoy the private pier, used only by guests at Baker Bay Retreat.

We’ve upgraded our cottage but it still has that cozy cabin feel that guests love. Private trail across street is a 5 min. walk to the beach. Large backyard with firepit, horseshoes & chairs. Enjoy a break with an evening fire or Netflix movie (Roku smart TV). Log wood/open beams interior with AC/Heat from new mini-split. Comfortably sleeps 3 adults/3-4 children. Propane grill, crab pots, clam guns, board games, patio set, beach chairs/towels/blanket, and kids sand toys onsite.

Enjoy the fantastic proximity to downtown while staying at our quiet and comfortable Quaint Downtown Cottage. Just steps from the original settlement in the historic district, our cottage is within a few blocks of multiple museums, restaurants, the Ft. George and other breweries, the Bow Picker and the riverwalk. This cottage features off street parking (a rare find in downtown), laundry and kitchen. Park your car and walk to everything.
