The Cheese House Self Catering Cottage

The cottage comprises of an ensuite family room with a double bed and bunk beds, a living/dining area, a fully fitted kitchen, and another bathroom. It's perfect for couples and families of up to 4. The cottage has central heating so is lovely and warm, and is a great home from home. Enjoy a peaceful break on our organic working farm, set amid the stunning scenery of Dumfries and Galloway, ideally situated for easy access to local attractions. All guests welcome. Swallow Cottage, Auldgirth - north of Dumfries.

Swallow Cottage was lovingly converted by Steve and Sarah from McMurdoston's old granary in 2014 and provides a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage is only 20 minutes drive from a 24-hour supermarket, a cinema and numerous eateries, but once you get here you'll feel as if you are truly in the middle of nowhere. We live just across the yard if you need us and we'll do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and quietly memorable.

16 Church Street is a renovated 1 bedroom cottage with open plan living/kitchen area. Literally a moment's walk from the scenic town centre of Moffat with local shops, pubs, restaurants & other amenities. The cottage is next to a river walk & the town, is surrounded by stunning scenery; perfect for avid hillwalkers. Only 5 minutes off the motorway (1.5 hr from Edinburgh,1 hr from Glasgow & 45mins from Carlisle) it's a perfect en route stopover but even better for a week! Welcome!

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.

We also have The Firkin Hell, a private pub on site which you will get exclusive use of during your stay for music, karaoke, darts and retro games machine. BYOB as we are unable to sell alcohol. The Stables is a quirky conversion on what was once a strawberry picking farm. Set within 30 acres of beautiful pastoral farmland the cottage is a peaceful rural retreat. A stones throw from some of Scotland's finest unspoiled and quiet beaches and within driving distance of all of the 7stanes mounting biking trails for those looking for a little more adventure.
