The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

From Llangynidr you have the canal which offers an easy walk either way and Tor y foel mountain.

The Old Byre dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of historically listed farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. The barn is set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal, between the villages of Talybont on Usk & Llangynidr. The spacious barn boasts a log burner & use of the adjacent communal games barn. It uses electricity created by our solar panels & benefits from underfloor heating.

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. A cosy quiet space to stop and breathe, with walks at all levels from the door.
