Hill Cottage

Enjoy this beautiful, newly renovated 1900’s character house on the hill in Mount Vernon. Steps from downtown with shops, restaurants, and riverwalk, yet nestled in a quiet neighbourhood on the hill, blocks from the hospital. The house offers a full kitchen including refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, range, microwave, toaster, and kettle. Views of the Skagit River and Olympic Mountains can be seen from both floors as well as stunning sunsets. Bedrooms upstairs include 1 king bed and 1 queen bed.

He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Welcome to the Coho Cabin, a tiny house/log cabin perched atop Skagit Bay with direct westerly waterfront views of wildlife, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mts. Built in 2007, it's an authentic log cabin, custom designed out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Enjoy the rustic-yet-elegant vibe, radiant heated floors, cozy loft bed, outdoor bbq and private location. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

Downtown Mount Vernon Hideaway. Riverclay Studio!

Riverclay Studio is hidden away in the alley just a few steps from the Skagit River. Edgewater Park and many popular restaurants, pubs, espresso and entertainment opportunities are within walking distance. It is reached by way of stairs from the back of the original Riverclay Studio which we once ran as a pottery and gallery and was once our home. Our address is also home to Skagit Valley Larder that operates in the downstairs level of the building.
