The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

A recently refurbished 3 bedroom cottage in a quiet village called Sandon. Ideal for walkers and cycling enthusiasts. The well known town of Maldon within 15 minutes drive known for its riverside pubs and restaurants. The city of Chelmsford is also 15 minutes away. Paper Mill lock and other beauty spots nearby. The cottage can sleep 5 with a dual sided log burner for cosy winter nights but all the mod cons. Please note we do not host children under the age of 12.

St George’s Cosy Cabin with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

The cabin is set within a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. Situated within the grounds of our house it can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot, highchair and 2 single airbeds are available. It boasts a large patio with sunbeds and quality furniture and the jacuzzi is an added luxury, £20 is requested via this app if used. There is a large fully stocked fishpond of which guests are welcome to feed.
