Be careful, you may fall in love with it too! About the house: it's a BEAUTIFUL 60 sqm apartment in the 2nd floor of a 2 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in June 2017 (BRAND NEW). It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. Spacious living room equipped with 32'' smart TV and comfortable separate bedroom with 160cm wide double bed. Air conditioning in both living room and bedroom and high speed Wi-Fi. Linen and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped with nespresso machine, toaster, electric jug, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Basics to cook like olive oil, vinegar, salt and sugar are also available. There is an iron and ironing board as well. In the bathroom, you’ll find a hair dryer (a nice one :)), toilet paper and shower gel. Charming small private patio where you can start your day with a nice breakfast, have a glass of wine or just relax. The flat was fully decorated by me and my husband Ricky and we manage it ourserlves. Price for 2 people using the ALL the house; includes the PRIVATE patio and you can use the entire home services: Kitchen, Living Room etc. You will get the keys from us personally, and we will provide you extra information about Lisbon and Alfama neighborhood. We stay reachable during all your stay. :) The apartment is in an area that's full of history and truly represents the heart of traditional Lisbon. Stroll around its narrow streets to discover little cafes, restaurants, Fado houses, and trendy shops that make up this vibrant neighborhood. A stop for the 28 Tram is just 4min away and Santa Apolónia (metro and train station) and Terreiro do Paço (metro station) are both a 7 min walk from the house. The street is in a limited traffic zone - only taxis and residents can enter. If you wish to come by car, you can park at Largo Terreiro do Trigo, less then 100m from the building. Transfers between the airport and the apartment it’s as extra service - please let us know if are interested. A baby cot is available upon request - please let us know if you'll need it. The Popular Saints Festival is celebrated throughout June in Portugal. The festival in Lisbon is celebrated primarily on the 12th and 13th of June, in memory of Saint Anthony. Across Lisbon's historical neighborhoods you will see colorful decorations, food stalls and live stages to listen to music. As we are situated in the heart of Alfama, during the month of June, specially the 12th, more animation is expected in the streets that surround the apartment and the area will be much more crowded and noisy during this day.

Bright, Charming and Elegant in the Heart of Lisbon

The amazing and spacious (120 sqm) apartment is on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of an entirely renovated traditional Lisbon building, and is sun facing throughout the day. It is elegantly decorated, fully furnished and equipped with all the mod-cons. Open the windows, enjoy the balcony, take a rest on the couch, enjoy the views, use the internet, enjoy a drink or read a book, cook and do everything you like and you normally do in your own home, but in the fantastic city of Lisbon! The apartment offers 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom, a spacious living and dining room with a study area and a sofa that can be turned into an extra bed; one toilet; a kitchen fully equipped with washing machine, dry machine, microwaves, fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher; TV and free wifi throughout the house. It can accommodate up to 5 persons and has all the appliances for long and short stays, with the possibility of one baby bed (please ask for it). Cleaning is made before the arrivals and is included in the price. Beds will be made with fresh linen and we will provide one set of towels per guest. You will be able to enjoy the whole apartment exclusively throughout your stay. I will always endeavor to reply quickly to all your questions or comments. As soon as you confirm your reservation, I will be in contact to prepare your arrival and will be waiting for you in the flat to welcome you. In checkin and throughout your stay, i will be available any time you need tips about the best restaurants to visit or any other information you may like to know about this wonderful city. Feel like a local when exploring the supermarket, antique shops, trendy decor and design stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Wander further, via the nearby Metro, just 8 minutes to the historic center. Subway (metro) is the best public transportation to get around in the city. You will find São Sebastião metro station just at the end of the street (4 min walk). São Sebastião is an hub station for red line (direct connection to the airport) and blue line (direct connection to historic center, avenida da liberdade and santa apolonia train station). There are also three buses lines nearby (3 min walk), at Av. de Berna: 716, 726 and 756. If you want to visit Alcantara area or Rua da Junqueira (Tagus riverfront), line 756 will get you there (direction east-west). If you are traveling with a private car, there is a covered car park in front of the building, with a maximum daily rate of 12 euros.

Welcome to Casa da Saudade Terrace apartment in Praça das Flores — one of the most beautiful and well preserved neighborhoods in Lisbon's city center. The apartment is on a charming, rehabilitated and remodeled, 18th century building. It has two small bedrooms and one bathroom with both shower and tub (separate), where we provide quality Kiehl's bath products for your comfort. The main living area is an open space spanning the entire building, front to back, featuring some unique and original art pieces. In the living room area you'll find an Airplay-enabled TV with cable (with several international channels), a Chromecast (to stream content directly from your devices), and a DVD player, with a personal collection of DVD's. Some of the amenities include fast Fiber internet connection (via wireless router), fully equipped kitchen, including gas stove and electric oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and a Washing machine. In the back you'll find the main feature of the apartment — a bright sun terrace facing the calm setting of a Lisbon center block. The garden in front of the apartment (Praça das Flores) is surrounded by delicious boutique cafés and restaurants, and is within walking distance to popular areas like Principe Real park, Bairro Alto, and Chiado shopping area. It is also around 5 minutes walk to the National Parliament and the Santos Design District. Also, in the neighborhood, you can find a groceries store, bakeries, and a 24hr pharmacy 5min up the street. You can find easy transportation: - Metro station - Rato (10 minutes walk) - Several buses (ie. to Belém) and tramway to St.Jorge Castle close by. - Cais do Sodré railway station with train to Estoril / Cascais and boat to the south riverside (20 minutes walk) - Rossio railway station with train to Queluz / Sintra (20 minutes walk) Note: - We don't recommend for small children because of the stairs and rails inside the apartment. - This is an 18th century building, and this is on the top floor (3rd) with multiple flights of wide stairs to get to the apartment — THERE IS NO ELEVATOR, please plan accordingly.
