'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Two queen bedrooms, full kitchen, beautiful red efficient fireplace, heating and cooling, large windows from den area facing the mountains. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is a brief 10-minute stroll down the hill to Midtown, the village center for shopping and restaurants. The cabin is 37 min drive to Ski Apache, 10 min drive to casinos.

Ruidoso Retreat

This newly remodeled studio cabin has all the amenities you need to relax during your stay in Ruidoso. The kitchenette comes with dishes and cooking utensils, to accommodate cooking if you choose. There is a stocked coffee bar to enjoy during cool mornings and evenings. The cabin is located off of Sudderth, and approximately 1-2 miles from downtown. It is very close to local restaurants, cafes and shopping. The studio cabin sits behind the owners house, there is a separate gate entrance.

Sit next to the warmth of a wood burning stove in the winter, or enjoy cool evening throughout the summer. Hiking, skiing, racetrack and casino are all nearby. Ruidoso is about a 35 minute drive from Casa de Luna.

Our completely remodeled cabin is located in “Old Ruidoso”. It’s walking distance to Midtown and a short drive to Grindstone Lake, Ski Apache and Ruidoso Downs Race Track. We have a grill on our back deck with a seating area plus a hot tub in the back yard. Our front deck has a 2 person porch swing where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. As frequent Airbnb guests we feel we have provided a great place for you to stay.
