The Stables Cottage…(the cutting garden house)

Be a country person for the weekend, stay in a 200 year old stable block, super light, with vaulted ceilings. A large sitting room, big bedroom, up a step to the kitchen/diner and bathroom. The newly fitted kitchen has sink, microwave, hob, and fridge/freezer. Also a sofabed. National Trust houses, historic Mayfield, village walks and the South Downs nearby. Small dogs welcome. The cottage overlooks the cutting gardens. A Private seating areas & wifi good for a working retreat!

Outside is a secluded garden with a terrace, and seventy acres of woodland and pasture to wander through; our resident Labradors will be pleased to join you!

A second, larger, double room is available "Large Sunny Room with Cliffe View". These rooms share a bathroom. There is a seperate loo. You can also book the attic room which has an ensuite - Castle View, a green sanctuary. Also the whole house "Charming Victorian Terraced House", sleeps 6 can be rented.
