Lawton Cottage offers seclusion on the edge of a farm. Recently renovated, it is a space of delight and comfort for two people within easy reach of Lunan Bay, and has: a super king size bed with a Brooke and Wilde mattress a sitting room with sofa, chairs and a table for working a kitchen made of cat's paw burr elm from the farm a deep bath and close to net zero heating via a wood fired stove which heats radiators and hot water - logs provided Guest information on a link before arrival.

It has a great golf course on the doorstep and lots to do beaches and visitor attractions close by. It is ideal for young families, couples and dog lovers (up to 2 medium sized dogs) with nature and long walks just outside the back door. You will need to bring a car. The “Wee Bothy” offers a great base to explore the North East Coast, our scenic Angus Glens, and nearby Towns and Cities with places of interest all around. The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.
