Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Our 2 bedroom holiday home is located in beautiful northern Herefordshire, near the border with Shropshire. We have recently fully renovated the home so you can enjoy the brand new feel! Surrounded by fields, yet close to Leominster and Ludlow and within easy reach of Hay on Wye, it is the perfect base to explore from. Discover pretty villages, walk in the hills, treasure hunt in the antique shops or just relax by the woodburner!

The Barn

In an area of outstanding natural beauty, Oaklands Barn is the perfect place for those seeking a peaceful escape. Enjoying far reaching views over the valley and the Welsh hills, the Barn lies nestled at the head of a gentle valley in the tiny hamlet of Kinton. Visit the historic market towns of Ludlow & Clun and the nearby Welsh Marches which abound in historic sites and castles. The village is a 5 minute walk with shop, petrol station, local butchers, riverside pub & parlour bar (Sun Inn)

Long Wood Lodges -Private Hot Tub - Welsh Marches

The Lodge provides a solitary luxury 2 bedroom (4 berth) wooden lodge within a 10 acre plot, just outside Knighton, Mid Wales. Where you will enjoy Panoramic views across rolling countryside viewable from the comfort of the lounge with the log burner roaring in the corner or from the hot tub on the private decking. Simply sit back and relax. All bookings include a personally tailored welcome basket as well as a log burner starter kit(winter) or a disposable BBQ(summer) to help you settle in.

This beyond the average bespoke 2020 build is ultimately pleasing to the eye, with it’s curvaceous smoothed oak rail staircase, handsome pillars and waxy satin cedar beams which embrace this appealing handcrafted lodge. An open plan living area leads onto 2 bedrooms with beautiful en-suites. Sitting in a field amongst the vivid greens of the Shropshire hills on an expanse of decking where you can open up the bifold doors and bring the outside in and enjoy the deliciously warm hot tub.

Cosy Glamping Pod with Hot Tub

Nestled in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, on the edge of a working farm, the Ludlow Pod is one of three luxury pods (view others on my profile). With plenty of scenic walks from the door, this cosy pod provides the perfect escape to relax and unwind. The accommodation has been individually designed and furnished in a bespoke style, including a hot tub, wet room and cooking facilities. Luxury 100% cotton bed linen, towels and robes are provided, along with a few basic supplies.

Nestled above the stunning Wye Valley with views across into the heart of Radnorshire, the hills of home, Ty Mawr Country Cabins offers a tranquil home from home escape, catering for couples, friends or single adventurers. Situated on a working farm surrounded by unspoilt countryside Unwind on your own private deck across the water or lose yourself amongst the books of Hay On Wye (5miles away) . Better still throw on some walking boots and discover the beauty the area has to offer.

Stable Cottage, Mocktree Barns, nr Ludlow

Stable is a cosy dog-friendly character cottage with an open-plan living space and an upstairs king double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Stable is one of a five cottage barn conversion adjacent to the host's home set amidst the beautiful Shropshire Hills and border Marches; on the edge of the Downton Estate and Mortimer Forest; with walks/cycling from the doorstep - this cottage is an ideal base for exploring the local area, further afield, or simply relaxing in our courtyard.

The Log Shed is a chic rustic barn conversion located on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border. Set in 70 acres of stunning countryside with views for miles. Kick back and relax in front of the cosy log burner, explore by foot with an abundance of walks on your doorstep or take a short drive to Ludlow and discover boutique shops, explore the historic castle and sample foodie delights at the Ludlow Farmshop. For keen walkers the famous Offa's Dyke is less than 7 miles away.

This lovely barn is set in the midst of the Shropshire Hills National Landscape . With walks from your doorstep you can discover the natural beauty of the area or take time out on the patio and drink in the views over the lake to the Long Mynd beyond. Meet the friendly alpacas on site and of an evening cosy up together with a warm fire watching the moon and stars rise. Visit historic castles, country houses, magical stone circles and ancient monuments.

Orchard Barn

The Orchard Barn at Old Court Farm. Our country hideaway has been lovingly brought to life from its humble beginnings as a Old cider barn. Designed and built here on the farm, this modern conversion brings a luxurious ‘interior feel’ surrounded by never-ending oak beams with views over looking the apple orchards. With 70 acres of near by orchards for you and your pets to ‘roam freely’ it’s a true feeling of the very beautiful English countryside.

Goat Hill Lodge is nestled away on our working family farm, overlooking the South Shropshire Hills. There are lots of special places for you to explore and experience with friends and family around the farm and surrounding area. 1 well behaved dog allowed in Goat Hill Lodge @rowtonretreats
