Dandelion Cottage, Amroth, Pembrokeshire

Tucked away in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park we have a very cosy, spacious stone cottage on our working smallholding. Adjacent to National Trust woodland and within easy walking distance to Colby Woodland Gardens and Amroth with its fabulous beach, village pubs, cafes and shop the cottage is perfect for beach goers, nature lovers and walkers. Charming 17th century former Coaching Inn overlooking beautiful open countryside. Sleeps 8-12. Large modern open plan kitchen with open fire, traditional snug with wood-burner, large patio and garden, fire-pit, pickleball court, swings. An inn has existed at this crossroads for centuries. The building dates back to the 1600s. We sensitively restored the property in 2021 conserving the lime-washed walls and beams and creating a light and spacious living area. Sole use of 3 acre field.

Charming Grade 2 listed Coach House. Enclosed courtyard with seating. Stable door entrance to ground floor comprising bathroom & open living /dining & kitchen. Large dining table, 2 two-seater leather sofas & wood burner. Bathroom comprises toilet, hand basin & shower over a refurbished roll top bath. May not suit a person around 6ft. Rustic wood flooring throughout. Bed 1 has a king bed, fitted wardrobes & a stainless steel double walled flue. Bed 2 has two single beds only.

Situated on the Welsh Coastal Path, we provide a base from which to explore the glorious Welsh coastline. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.

"Ty-Ni" is situated in the idyllic township of Laugharne on the Carmarthen Bay Estuary, a good base for visiting Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire, in South West Wales. Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and writing shed where he wrote some of his works including "Under Milkwood". Ideally located to explore the Coastal Path for stunning scenic walks, and close to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narberth & further a field St David's, Pembroke, the West Coast.
