Balsam Hollow Cabin

Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! Charming Victorian Cure Cottage In Saranac Lake

Franklin's 80 Loons offers a renovated Victorian "Cure Cottage" with 3 beds, intriguing nooks & crannies & ample sunlight, & driveway parking on a quiet residential street. Short walk to new rail trail, Lake Flower & Saranac Lake shops, galleries and restaurants. This comfortable house is the perfect base camp for hiking, skiing, snowboarding, cycling & paddling activities. Relax with a book, puzzle, board game, bath or campfire. The Olive Branch

We are located 100 yards from the downtown area, and 300 yards from Lake Flower, but in a nice residential spot. We grow our own food in our front yard and on our large porch. House is over 100 years old, comfortably furnished. Style is "Early American Garage Sale." Very close to canoe and kayak rentals, and minutes away from 3 boat launches and boat rentals. 1 block from new Adirondack RAIL TRAIL. Your hosts were involved in eco-tourism for many years and can provide a wealth of information.

Just steps away from Lake Flower & popular restaurants this cabin is located just 5 minutes from downtown Saranac Lake and 15 minutes to Lake Placid. Enjoy lake views and morning coffee from your front porch or cuddle in your own mini leanto. In the evenings, enjoy cocktails in the screened in gazebo, and toast marshmellows around the fire pit. On rainy days watch movies in the cozy basement tv/game room. Just steps away from Casa Del Sol, blue line brewery, & Aldi's you'll never need your car!

Jump right into the lake from your own dock in summer; watch the Winter Carnival festivities in February. An all season home close to the Olympic venues and all the Adirondacks have to offer. Take it easy at this cozy and tranquil getaway in the woods we call The Little Cabin on Sunset Ponds. This cabin is on 13-acres with two ponds. It is also located right off the snowmobile trails/cross country ski trails in Gabriels, NY. It is fully equipped with everything you may need. Perfect place for a home base while you go on your very own Adirondack adventure. The VIC center is close by, fishing, lots of hiking and paddling… 10 minutes from Saranac Lake 30 minutes from Lake Placid

Lake Clear Country House

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay while visiting the Adirondack Mountains! This is a completely renovated 3 bedroom house with new furnishing. Outside you will be surrounded by flowers, gardens, and cows out in the pasture. It is located about 6 miles outside of Saranac Lake. Within a 10 minute drive you can find restaurants, shops, grocery/health food stores, parks/playgrounds, river walk, and an ample amount of entertainment including live music and art events.

Cozy, open living room space with all the comforts of home. Enjoy the wood stove, notty pine walls, contemporary kitchen and laundry area with lots of natural light in a quiet neighborhood close to local sights. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling lights as well as side table lamps that offer a softer glow for relaxing. The living room and master bedroom features 4K resolution Roku Smart televisions which allow you to stream movies, shows, and channels from major streaming providers.

Village Cottage-Walk to Downtown/Rail Trail

Very cute cottage is within walking distance to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, the rail trail and nightlife. Good side yard with outdoor furniture. Enclosed porch for rainy days. Huge soaking tub. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We do not charge a pet fee but will charge for any damages incurred. This is a cottage next to where we live. We are self check in but you may run into us.

Camp Shepard

This is a charming house built in 1920 right in Saranac Lake. It gives a campy feeling of being nestled in the woods. There are views of Lake Flower and its boat launch from the wrap around porch or patio. In the heart of the Adirondacks, and just 8 miles from Lake Placid, after hiking, boating, fishing, canoeing, or just exploring come home and relax in this spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a large kitchen, dining and living room or have a nice family cookout from the bbq.

Enjoy an easy walk down the Rail Trail to Lake Clear, where state lands provide access for swimming, paddling, listening to loons, and unwinding.

Camp Schneider

Nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, this newly-built cabin is located outside of Saranac Lake, directly off of the Adk Rail Trail, a 34-mile recreational trail for biking, walking, x-country skiing, or snowmobiling. The Little Clear Pond trail head to the historic Seven Carries in the St. Regis Canoe Wilderness is three houses away. Lake and beach access off of the trail head, too. So quiet you can hear the wildlife at night while you watch the stars.
