Noordhoek beach is to the right and Long Beach to the left of the house.

Casa Thula is a safe, gated, and comfortably designed 2 bedroom apartment in Kommetjie. The name Thula means “to be still” or “quiet” in Zulu and Xhosa, reflecting the peaceful atmosphere of both our home and our little surf town. Just a short walk from one of South Africa’s most consistent surf breaks, scenic coastal walks, and great coffee spots. With fast wifi, and a balcony overlooking a natural reserve, it’s the perfect place to work remotely or enjoy a South African getaway.

Bungalow

I will be on safari until 12 August so may respond later than usual due to no signal. The solar powered timber Cabin under the 100 year old millkwoods with a sea view, clean lines and tranquil feel 5 minutes’ walk to two surf spots. You can do cold water swimming across the road. Hikes, restaurants, swim and coffee shops are close by. The second bedroom has a separate entrance so this cabin is not suitable for families with young children or anxious parents. Sorry no pets allowed.

Endless Views & Privacy

Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

Honeymoon Lighthouse Cottage - sea view, pool, BBQ

This gorgeous hideout situated next to a nature reserve on historical premises is the perfect romantic getaway. The open-plan, spacious cottage, furnished with a beach style, king-size bed in the loft bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining, and lounge area. The private veranda is a perfect spot for whale watching or home office, with fast WIFI, to be productive with a holiday feel. An indigenous garden with pool, lounge, and BBQ area all overlooking the ocean.
