This unique, off-grid, cozy and family friendly cabin is situated on the North aspect of Knysna, along the Old Cape Road. Our family cottage is perfectly suited to couples/families looking for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and positioned on a beautiful natural indigenous ravine. The cottage forms apart of The Farm establishment, with another 3 cottages and a small coffee shop open for breakfasts and early lunches, making this too a convenient stop if you're traveling through Knysna.

Welcome to Gecko Lodge! This lovely self-catering, fully equipped two-bedroomed unit is in a quiet estate with gorgeous garden and forest views. We are just twenty minutes’ drive from the town of Knysna, and twenty minutes’ drive from the beach at Buffalo Bay. Our home is a peaceful place with prolific birdlife. Because we are in a nature conservancy, there are no parties and no pets allowed. The wildlife includes bushbuck, baboons and porcupines passing through, and bees love the garden.

Cosy farm cabin

Cozy farm cabin at Wildheart Farm with views of indigenous forest and sunset over Knysna lagoon. The cabin is located near the main farm house, gardens and horse paddock. Access to braai place and swimming in the dam. Free parking either in front of the main house or next to the cabin. Please note the last 800 m of road to the farm is a dirt road. Whilst completely doable in a 4x2, it is definitely better for cars with higher clearance and not suitable for cars with very low clearance.

It caters for couples wanting a romantic getaway, nature lovers, and families wanting a soul cleansing, unique escape into nature.  We are only 25 minutes from beautiful beaches, day hikes and picnic spots in the National forest.
